It Has Been Too Long!

November 10, 2008

I cannot believe that it has been so long since I last contributed to this site. I wrote in my last Editor's Corner in January that I was not feeling well and would be unable to maintain the site as well as I would have liked. And little did I know that it would take almost a year to get back to it. I would like to proudly announce that I gave birth to my first child on August 6th. It was the morning sickness that caused me to stop working on the site. I was terribly sick for the first 4 months. Now that my little girl is 3 months old and I am feeling up to it I will try to pick up where I left off by providing uplifting and inspirational news, stories, books and more for you to enjoy.

With Great Happiness,
Janine

David my older brother has been riding for a while and I am new to the sport. Trust me the spandex outfits took some time getting used to. I had promised Elle that I was going to do this for her a while ago and now it is becoming a reality. Help make this come true for us.

A wonderfully well-written story by the winning contestant in a writing contest in Palm Desert. This is a sweet story about a woman who feels invisible to her friends and family and rejoices in the knowledge that she is loved.

Here is a list of "good reads" recommended by a group of reviewers. It is quite a diverse list of books. I look forward to reading some of them myself.
